BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CARE

Many people go through periods in their lives where they experience difficulties. Behavioral health programs are designed to support people in working toward optimal health and quality of life. Our staff includes clinicians, social workers, certified peer specialists, other mental health and chemical dependency professionals, psychiatrists, and nurse practitioners.

At Meridian Center for Health, behavioral health services are provided by two of our partners: Valley Cities Behavioral Health and Neighborcare Health.
-
Valley Cities staff can see people covered by Apple Health/Medicaid and who reside in King County.
-
Neighborcare sees behavioral health patients in conjunction with medical care regardless of insurance status or where you live.
How to Get Started
-
At Valley Cities, anyone seeking mental health or substance use disorder treatment must complete an intake assessment. Generally, walk-ins are available from 8:30 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday*. Intake appointments are completed on a “first-come, first-served” basis, so the process can take several hours.
-
If you are a patient with Neighborcare Health, ask your primary care provider for information on behavioral health services.
-
If you are unsure of what option is best for you, please feel free to walk in and we can help you at the Welcome Center desk at the main entrance.
